Experience
Ms. Perry co-founded BFP Engineers, Inc. in 2006, bringing both seismic-related and forensic expertise to the firm. She has significant expertise in construction litigation including litigation support, expert witness services, and deposition and trial testimony. She has performed seismic analysis and design, seismic hazard evaluations, post-earthquake damage assessments and collapse investigations, and has designed strengthening schemes for numerous public and private clients. These projects have involved various types of structures, including new and existing buildings, bridges, wharves, nuclear facilities, thermo-electric power plants, equipment, piping, tanks, nonstructural elements of buildings, and an observatory dome. She has been responsible for both the technical aspects and management of numerous projects. Ms. Perry has 42 years of prior experience in seismic analysis and design and 15 years of litigation experience. She was formerly with the San Francisco Bay Area offices of URS/John A. Blume & Associates, Engineers; Dames & Moore, Inc.; and Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc.
